Senior Software Engineer (Go) - Platform API
As a Senior Go Engineer on the Platform APIs Team, you’ll work on some of our company’s most pivotal distributed services, where performance, scalability, and reliability are paramount.
Our engineers are encouraged to tackle projects independently, with collaborative opportunities for solving complex challenges, brainstorming new designs, and discussing innovative ideas. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-performance standards and contributing to cost-efficient optimisations that impact the entire platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise high-performance Go-based microservices, essential to transaction management and payment processing.
- Push the boundaries of CockroachDB with efficient database configurations and high-performing queries to support scalability and speed.
- Optimise inter-service communication using NATS for low-latency and distributed processing.
- Continuously refine services to balance cost-efficiency with high performance, maintaining strict availability and performance SLOs.
- Maintain high availability standards in a Kubernetes multi-cloud environment, operating across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR 🔍
Essential
- Deep understanding of designing and building distributed systems
- Enjoys working on complex challenges within critical software where high performance and robustness are essential
- Familiarity with cloud and containerisation technologies, test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Interest in owning projects end-to-end and supporting them as they go live in production
- Appreciation of clean code and software engineering best-practice
- Experience with Go, along with a “right tool for the job” mentality
- Great communication skills who enjoy sharing knowledge and collaborating with others
Desirable
- Exposure to Kubernetes and/or CockroachDB would be great!

THE TEAM 👥
The Platform APIs Team is responsible for low-latency, mission-critical, stateful services that support our payments infrastructure 24x7, 365 days a year.
Engineers on the team take individual ownership of tasks, focusing deeply on optimisation and scalability to ensure these services operate seamlessly at high volumes. Running active-active across multiple clouds in Kubernetes, these services present complex, fascinating challenges in distributed computing. This work offers an excellent grounding in high-transaction, distributed cloud architecture on Kubernetes.

Role:
Senior Software Engineers at Stamped are hands-on builders responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that powers our products. This role combines technical depth with product intuition — engineers are expected to think like product partners, not just implementers.
They work closely with Product, Chief of Product and the Director of Engineering to rapidly prototype, validate, and scale solutions that drive measurable user value. Senior Engineers bring curiosity, empathy, and a bias for action, leveraging AI tools and modern practices to deliver with speed, reliability, and craftsmanship.
Our current systems include a large .NET/C# foundation, so engineers in this role will play a key part in maintaining and modernizing our core platform while also helping shape the next generation of services and architecture.
This group sits at the center of Stamped’s shift toward an AI-native, iterative engineering culture — emphasizing autonomy, accountability, and shared ownership across the team.
Responsibilities
- Product Engineering Design, build, test, and ship features across the stack with speed and reliability.
- AI-Enabled Development Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, or similar) to accelerate development, reduce repetitive work, and improve code quality
- Execution & Ownership Deliver against roadmap commitments with a focus on quality, maintainability, and iteration
- Knowledge Sharing Document, mentor, and contribute to a culture of learning and openness.
- Continuous Improvement Stay curious and experimental with new tools, frameworks, and AI workflows that can improve speed, quality, or developer experience.
- Collaboration Partner closely with Product and the Director of Engineering to align technical work with customer and business needs.
- Technical Judgment Participate in system design and architectural discussions, contributing to modernization and scalability — with a focus on strengthening and evolving our .NET/C# systems.
- Prototyping & Validation Rapidly prototype new ideas to validate value before scaling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally across multiple product areas or stacks
- Strong proficiency with C# and the .NET ecosystem, experience improving performance, reliability, or maintainability of production systems
- Familiarity with modern languages/frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, Python, Go, React, Node, .NET)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Demonstrated use of AI tools or automation in the development workflow
- Product mindset: comfort with ambiguity, iteration, and user-centric decision-making
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrive in cross-functional teams
Compensation:
We offer a starting base salary of $135,000.00 — $210,000.00 CAD depending on experience.
We take a holistic approach to compensation at Stamped. Total compensation includes Salary, benefits, RRSP, ESPP, an annual education allowance and other perks.

Marketing Designer (Remote)
As a remote Marketing Designer at BRYTER you will play a key role in developing and executing visually engaging marketing materials. Working closely with others in the Marketing Team (Content, Demand Generation, Technical Website Manager) you will contribute to creating a creative, engaging and consistent brand identity across various channels – from paid social campaigns to e-books and webpages.
You are a high-energy designer who enjoys the challenges and opportunities B2B marketing presents. In a world of boring stock photos, you like to be the one creating a visual aesthetic that pushes boundaries and brings fun, energy and creativity into B2B Marketing (and to the legal and compliance industries!), while doing so in a way consistent with the brand.

What you’ll do
- Develop engaging and visually striking assets to support marketing efforts across platforms and channels: paid social media campaigns (LinkedIn Ads), collateral (e.g., e-books and PDFs), presentations and landing pages.
- Create elements for our website and landing pages.
- Work closely with others in the Marketing Team: Content, Demand Generation and our Technical Website Owner, as well as cross-functionally (Product Design) and directly with the founders to create assets that support our Marketing Strategy.
- Manage and execute on multiple projects, deadlines and communication in a fast-moving start-up environment.
What we’re looking for
- A strong portfolio that shows your visual design skills.
- You have extensive skills in: Figma, Adobe: Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, Premiere. Bonus: Adobe Audio, Blender, FinalCutProX
- 3+ years in marketing design roles (or similar).
- The ability to bring energy and creativity to a traditional industry (Legal/ Compliance and B2B). Previous work in a B2B SaaS is a huge plus.
- Digital and print expertise: trained in creating assets for both digital and print mediums.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent English speaker.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join and lead engineering at Root. As a Staff Engineer, you will be the primary technical leader for one or more teams within a product domain (e.g. Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, etc). You’ll work very closely with the software engineers on your team(s) to ship valuable software as well as the broad set of stakeholders to define the strategy and overall roadmap for the domain.
Salary Range: $180,000 - $229,000 (Bonus and LTI Eligible)

How You Will Make an Impact
- Co-lead your team with your Engineering Manager, helping to coach, model for and grow the other team members.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and experts in the Insurance group to set the strategy for the quarters to come
- Identify and socialize important technical initiatives that increase the effectiveness of our products, systems, and teams
- Contribute code strategically each development cycle to advance the impact of the team
- Lead by example in incident response ensuring we take action to continuously improve the resiliency of our systems
- Coordinate with Staff Engineers across the organization to establish and evangelize standards and best practices
What You Will Need to Succeed
- 7+ years as a software engineer
- 3+ years leading software teams
- Expertise in Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with React
- Proven leadership of projects involving multiple teams across functional domains
